Dream Whip Pie | Instant Pudding | Irish Dessert Recipe for SaintPatrick's Day

Saint Patrick's Day is celebrated on March 17th.  As my husband's family is Irish, we like to to get together with my daughters, son-in-law and grandkids to have our traditional boiled dinner of corned beef, cabbage, and carrots the Sunday before.  This year I surprised the grandchildren and made an easy recipe using Dream Whip Pie with green Pistachio pudding as our Irish dessert to top off the evening!

Dream Whip Pie

I found the cutest leprechaun St. Patrick's Day lollipops and used them to garnish the pie.  The grandkids were in their glory and enjoyed the special Irish dessert "treat"!

Instant Pudding Pie Dessert

This pie was an easy recipe to make, and can easily be adapted for any occasion or holiday - Valentine's Day, Birthday, Halloween, Thanksgiving or Christmas, just by changing the flavor of the pudding.

I always have boxes of instant pudding for Dream Whip recipes on hand in the pantry and Pillsbury pie crusts in the freezer.

You could use banana, chocolate or strawberry instant pudding and turn it into a quick dessert to bring to brunch or pot-luck dinners!
